Program Manager
Jim brings over 30 years of experience in software development, including more than 20 years dedicated to Class II and Class III medical devices. Now serving as Program Manager at Suntra (formerly Sunrise Labs), he draws on his deep background in systems and software development to guide complex projects from planning through delivery.
Jim’s well-rounded perspective stems from his early career as a Software QA Engineer, where he developed and tested devices, combined with decades of experience managing technical teams. His product portfolio spans handheld medical devices, desktop analyzers, and infusion pumps.
He holds a BS in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire, supplemented with software and electrical engineering coursework, and earned a Master’s in Education that has proven valuable in motivating and leading teams. Jim’s enduring passion for physiology and patient outcomes continues to drive his commitment to advancing medical products that make a difference.
