Adam is a senior technology leader with proven success in R&D, medical device development, and driving product innovation.
Before joining Suntra (formerly Sunrise Labs), Adam held leadership roles including Executive Director of Engineering at KMC Systems and Vice President of R&D at Datascope, MELA Sciences, and JADS Technologies. He has also guided three startup companies through successful liquidity events.
Adam has developed a wide range of novel technologies, including in-vivo and in-vitro diagnostics, optical and imaging system automation, signal processing, classifiers, and precision mechanics. With deep expertise at the systems level, he combines strong technical acumen with the ability to bridge complex R&D challenges with business, operational, and user needs.
Adam believes the best technology is built by great people. He credits the dedication, capabilities, and ethos at Suntra as the foundation for its long-standing success. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and pursued graduate studies in Computer Science at Stanford University.
