Suntra MedTech Solutions led a comprehensive redesign of the camera’s outer housing, transitioning to ultrasonic welding for faster, stronger, and more cost-effective assembly. We applied poka-yoke principles to eliminate assembly errors and selected new materials optimized for bonding and user interaction. Internally, our team refined the lens mount to reduce labor and prevent image-degrading debris, optimized gasket materials for tactile button feedback, and collaborated with the original lighting designer to eliminate light leaks and sharpen imaging fidelity. On the electrical side, we introduced a simple but effective thermal solution—a 10¢ component—to address internal hot spots and improve user comfort.
